Driving down the road, see a nice road cut. STOP! You will be amazed at the interesting things you can find. Many areas in North Texas reveal fossils such as ammonites, brahiopods and echinods. The North Sulfur River, just north of Ladonia Texas has Mossasaur and fish and turtle fossils, even Mammonth bones have been collected there. Post Oak creek in Sherman Texas is full of sharks teeth. There are rare tektites in the Brenham area. There is so much to explore and find in this great country.
